self esteem, and financial instability. Jail term comes with doubt,
unfamiliar surroundings, and uncertainty. The death of a close family
member is associated with grief, loneliness, and the feeling of
abandonment. Personal injury or illness may come with isolation,
lack of money, and stress with work. Marriage is usually associated
with difference in social structure, relationship stress, and environmental
stress. Being fired from work can result in stress from poverty,
financial instability, and social stress. Marital reconciliation
may have the same stressors as marriage itself does. Retirement
can be associated with the same stuff as being fired. If you have
four or more of the major stressors you may want to talk to your
doctor to help prevent such things as hair loss and other medical
problems.
We are going to go over just a few activities that will help relieve
stress then a few ways to have a healthy life style so that stress
do not hit as hard as it once did. Talking to a supportive friend
is a good way to vent and help to not bottle up your emotions. Along
the same lines of a friend you can journal this will also help to
not bottle up your stress. Take a long bath with a good book this
will relax your body and take your mind of your stressors for a
bit. Try watching a comedy a good laugh goes a long way when you
become overstressed. A healthy life style can help exercising has
many benefits one of which is releasing pent-up stress and tension.
A healthy diet will aid you in more energy to better cope with stress
as it comes along from day to day. Restricting the amount of caffeine
and sugar in you diet will also help from crashing and having lower
energy when a stress related problem comes up. Sleep is another
way to be able to better handle stressful situations when you are
awake and alert it is easier to deal with stress as it comes along.
