There are many types of shampoo and there are many uses for the different shampoo. We are going to look over what exactly shampoo is and then we are going to look at what different shampoos do. Shampoo is a liquid form that cleanse the scalp and the hair however, there are different formulas that add to just the cleansing process. Through the creation of different formulas shampoos can do numerous things. There are certain shampoos designed to keep the color on dyed hair. There are other types of shampoo to assist you in dandruff control. Moisturizing shampoos are good for making sure hair get the oils it needs to shine. These are types of shampoos where there are also different formulas to the shampoos to make a difference in how they are used.

There are many specialized formulas for shampoo. We are going to look at most of them and just give you a general idea what each one is for. Dandruff shampoo is used to eliminate dandruff. The shampoo general removes loose dander and medicating the scalp to help prevent further dander from coming off. All- Natural shampoo is a shampoo formula that is made from organic materials and is suppose to be gentler on your hair. Baby Shampoo is designed to lower the burning sensation if the shampoo was to run into the baby or child’s eyes. Animal shampoo is designed to work with the animals’ skin as well as most formulas have a special insecticide that will help with fleas and ticks. There are still very few solid shampoos usually they come in a bar form. These types usually take longer to apply and generally are harder to get out of your hair. There are also shampoos that are powder form and are put in the hair and then simply brushed out.

With the various types of shampoos out there finding one to do what you need it to do should be easy. No matter if you need more body of one with less body the different types of formulas that are out there can help. Make sure when applying any shampoo that you thoroughly massage the shampoo into your hair and then completely rinse out all of the shampoo. Shampoo that is left in the hair will cause more damage to the hair causing dandruff and even thinning of the hair. There are shampoos out there that combine conditioner and others that will add body so finding a shampoo that will assist you in your hair care.
