The pigments contained in semi permanent hair coloring products are deposited in the outer cortex of the hair and in the hair cuticle; fading gradually with every wash. Semi permanent hair color is suitable for anyone who may be reluctant for a permanent color change. The hair color is formulated to last longer than temporary, but is much milder than permanent hair color. It is also an excellent choice for those who feel that their hair is dull or drab. Semi-permanent hair color can deepen color tones without altering the natural hair color.

If you want to boost your hair color, using semipermanent hair color will be just right for you. Also called color stain, wash, or hair glazing, semi permanent hair colors can make your hair shine by simply coating it with a non-peroxide type of hair color which typically washes out at about four to six weeks after application.

This type of hair color is not as popular as the permanent hair dyes and colors. The use of this type of hair coloring product can do the following for your hair:

  • Give your hair a healthier look

Using semipermanent hair coloring is gentler on your hair and is less risky compared to permanent hair coloring. Once you have started using semipermanent hair coloring, it is recommended that you continue using it untli it no longer produces the results you desire. Once this happens, you can then consider using permanent hair color.
