Hair care should not be so difficult when you know the right and proper way of handling your hair. In having a healthy hair though, you should consider your hair style. A great hair care should compliment the style of your hair and highlight your features.
We all have different facial types; however, the most general facial types are classified in to seven. There is the oval, round, triangle, square, pear-shape, oblong, or diamond facial type. These facial shapes actually determine the kind of hair care that is most suitable for you.
You may be curious as to how to identify the right hair care with the type of your face. There are books or articles online that clearly show examples of different styles. Look for those sample photographs that closely match your facial structure.
Once you know your facial type, now consider choosing the best hairstyle for the shape of your face, basing on the type of hair you have. Hair care varies for the normal, dry, oily, fine, thick, straight, or curly hair. Because of this, there are times when haircuts do not work for a specific type of hair. For instance, a particular hair style is not suitable for fine, oily hair.
After getting the right hair cut, what is next is the maintenance of your hair style. This brings us to taking care of your hair. This means the proper shampooing and conditioning of your styled mane. In choosing your shampoo and conditioner, as these are the most important and basic products in cleaning and protecting your hair, remember not to use those hair care products that contain harsh ingredients. These will most probably cause damage to your hair.
Healthy hair styles require less or no use of hot-styling appliances, and harmful chemicals to hold the hair style. It is always best for the hair to avoid excessive exposure to heat, preventing the hair from breakage and dullness.
