Uma Thurman

Uma was born April 29, 1970. She left her Massachusetts boarding school at the age of 15 to begin acting. She moved to New York and washed dishes and modeled to pay her bills. She reportedly did not like the modeling.

In 1987, she had her film debut in “Kiss Daddy Goodnight”.  The next year she was in the comedy, “Johnny B. Good”. Later that year she would appear in “Dangerous Liasons” which would be one of the bigger films in her career.  In 1990, she would star in Henry and June and would find her explicit love scenes attracted fans that would scare her away from taking any more roles for a while.  Uma would disappear off of everybody’s radar until “Pulp Fiction” would reestablish her back on the Hollywood scene.

Uma would star in “The Truth about Cats and Dogs” in 1996, and then “Beautiful Girls”, neither of which would qualify as solid fare. She would however win a Golden Globe for Best Actress for her role in “Hysterical Blindness” in 2002.  Nobody could deny that Uma was a star after “Kill Bill Vol.1” and it’s aptly named sequel “Kill Bill Vol.2”. She would return to comedy with “My Super Ex-Girlfriend.”

Uma has long, straight blonde hair with straight cut bangs.
