Michelle Pfeiffer

Lovely Michelle won two beauty contest titles, (Miss Orange County and Miss Los Angeles) but still wanted to be a court reporter and had planned to attend schooling to work toward that goal. She was working in a supermarket when she realized that acting might be a better idea for her so she went to acting school and began auditioning for modeling and commercial gigs. Her debut was on Fantasy Island where she had all of one line to speak.  In 1980, she had a small part in Falling in Love Again, but all was about to change for her.

In 1982, Michelle was cast as the tough talking female lead in “Grease 2” opposite Maxwell Caufield, and soon producers could not find enough roles for her. She starred with Al Pacino in “Scarface” (1983), “Into the Night” (1984), and “Ladyhawke” with Rutger Hauer in 1985. Two years later, Michelle’s star power would really be realized when she starred with legendary actors, Jack Nicholson, Cher and Susan Sarandon in “The Witches of Eastwick”. The following year, she would receive her first  Oscar nomination for her role in “Dangerous Liasons” Michelle would work steadily and would receive a second nomination, this time for “The Fabulous Baker Boys”.

1993 would find Michelle receiving her third nomination altogether, (one for Best Supporting Actress, two for Best Actress) for her role in “Lovefield”. With only brief breaks, Michelle has worked steadily since her debut, in comedies and dramas alike. She has appeared in a period piece, “The Age of Innocence (1993) and a Shakespeare adaptation, “A Midsummer’s Night Dream”(1999).

Michelle has been married twice and adopted a baby girl. Her and second husband, David E. Kelly also have a baby boy together.

Michelle has shoulder length blonde hair that she wears with a side part. It is wavy but occasionally she appears with straight hair. There is no hair style known to man that can make Michelle look unattractive.
