Emmy Rossum

Born September 12, 1986, the talented songstress accomplished more in her teen years than many manage in their whole careers. Emmy managed to sing in twenty different operas in six languages, no less, and shared the stage with operatic legends such as Placido Domingo and Luciano Pavarotti. She has been on the stage at the Metropolitan Opera House as well as Carnegie Hall.

Even though her vocal talents were impressive to say the least, Emmy longed for more and made her television debut on the soap opera, As the World Turns. She was nominated for a Young Artist Award for her work in “Genius” a Disney channel production. Emmy also starred as a young Audrey Hepburn in the biopic, “The Audrey Hepburn Story” in 2000.

Emmy filmed the movie “Songcatcher”, a dram that was nominated for two separate awards and won Best Ensemble Performance at the Sundance Film Festival. In ‘93, she went on to appear in “Nola” a romantic comedy. Emmy’s voice continued to be her bread and butter, and was the major reason that Andrew Lloyd Webber cast her as Christine in his “Phantom of the Opera”.

Emmy has long dark brown hair which she usually keeps pulled back away from her lovely face. Recent photos of her looking fresh and casual with her hair pulled back in a very cute headband are particularly fetching.
