| Christina Applegate
Christina made her debut as an infant in the soap opera “Days of Our Lives”, appearing with her actress mother. Her big screen debut came in 1981 when she was only ten years old, and she appeared with her mother in that one as well. The movie, “Jaws of Satan” was not a memorable one, but enough to get the young woman’s career started.
Christina followed that less than stellar movie with a role in the television biopic “Grace Kelly” portraying a young Grace. In 1987, Christina was tapped to play the sexy, bubble headed teen daughter in the Fox series “Married …With Children”. Although the show was met with howls of protests from virtually every advocacy group around at the time, the show continued on for ten years, including “It’s a Bundyful Life” in 1992.
Fed up with the dumb, but loveable bimbo role, Christina appeared as a drug addicted, streetwalker in the 1990 film “Streets” which had poor attendance and worst reviews. She went back to a more comedic turn the next year with the film “Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter is Dead”, where she was allowed to be sexy, but smart. Christina returned to television with the series “Jesse” playing a single mother, but that did not last long.
She stuck with comedy for roles in “The Sweetest Thing” (2004) and “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy” that same year.
Christina is a natural blonde, but has darkened her hair for film roles. She always returns to blonde when a project is over however, and looks best with that color. Her Kelly Bundy hair style; long and straight with smooth bangs was popular for many years.
