Born March 10. 1983, Carrie wanted to sing from an early age and did- singing with her church from the time she was a toddler. She was not just a talented singer though, the bright young woman graduated as her class Salutatorian and then went on to major in Mass Communication in North Eastern State College. The singing bug bit her again however when she was a few credits short of her degree. She tried out for the Fox network’s amazing hit show, American Idol and quickly won the judges hearts with a flawless performance. Not only did she win that competition in 2005, she quickly went on to endorsement deals with Sketchers and Hershey’s.
Carrie’s album, “Some Hearts” went triple platinum and the first single from it topped the charts for over six weeks. Her albums garnered several awards including Single Record of the Year (for the song, “Jesus, Take the Wheel”) and Top Female Vocal Artist. After finishing her degree, she received the designation “World’s Sexiest Vegetarian” by PETA in 2005. She also went on to win five Billboard Music Awards as well.
Carrie has gorgeous blonde hair that would leave any porcelain doll green with envy. She can pull off nearly any style with ease, from casual ponytails to elegant red carpet worthy coifs.
