Knowles Beyonce
was born September 4, 1981 in Houston, Texas. The talented
child was destined to be famous- she began performing when
she was 7 years old and won over 30 local competitions for
both singing and dancing. In 1992, Beyonce was one third
of a musical trio appearing on the show Star Search, but
the name of that group was “Girl Tyme”. Beyonce
became the first African American woman to win the ASCAP
Pop Songwriter of the Year Award, only the second woman
to win this award.
Although she enjoyed great success with
Destiny’s Child, Beyonce began a solo career in 2001.
Her very first major onscreen role was in 2002’s Goldmember,
playing opposite Mike Myers. The following year Beyonce
released her debut, full length solo work, “Dangerously
in Love”. In 2006, Beyonce showed up in the
award winning “Dreamgirls”.
Beyonce has appeared with nearly every
hair style imaginable- she looks the best with her natural
deep brown hair color, left loose and soft. Recent photos
of her show shoulder length, almost golden blonde hair which
does not really suit her complexion fully.
