Angelina Jolie

Born June 4, 1975, the raven haired, plump lipped actress was destined to be a star. Living in Los Angeles, and the child of two actors, there was no denying that the beauty would grace the screen at some point in her life. Angelina, however decided that she would be a funeral director instead. Thankfully, that changed.

After attending the Less Strasberg Theatre Institute and New York University, Jolie appeared in the film “Cyborg 2” in 1993. Two years later, she was in “Hackers”. Then, in 1997, she won the Golden Globe for the TV movie, “George Wallace”. She also garnered the attention of critics in the film “Gia”.

Angelina won an Academy Award for “Girl, Interrupted” in 2000. Later that same year she married Billy Bob Thorton, her second husband. She also appeared in “Gone in Sixty Seconds” with Nicholas Cage and “Original Sin” with Antonio Banderas. The following year she breathed shapely life into the video game character, Lara Croft in “Tomb Raider”. The sequel to that same film, “Lara Croft, Tomb Raider: Cradle of Life” was panned mercilessly by the critics, but fairly well received by the fans of both the video game and Angelina Jolie.

By 2002, Jolie had changed some of her aspirations, as well as some of her image by adopting a Cambodian boy which led to her divorce from Thorton according to both camps. Jolie continued working however, appearing in “Beyond Borders” in ‘03 and three films the following year: “Alexander”  “Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow” and “Taking Lives”. She also provided her sultry voice in the animated film “Shark Tale”.

In 2005, Angelina appeared in “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” opposite Brad Pitt, with whom she was rumored to be having an affair with. Although both denied the alleged involvement, their on screen chemistry could not be denied and by the following year, they had not only confirmed what was blatantly obvious, they had welcomed a daughter as well.

Jolie has appeared on screen with blonde hair, but looks best with her natural, darker hair which sets off  her creamy pale complexion and enviable facial structure to her best advantage.
