Adriana Lima is more than just a model, she is a goddess!
Born June 12, 1981 in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, Adriana started
her career at a relatively young age when she won second
place in the Ford Supermodel of the World contest at 13.
In 2001 she appeared in the short film “The Follow”
with actor Mickey Rourke.
Her modeling career has been successful
for her, netting her trips down the catwalk for Guess and
Armani, as well as a regular spot with Victoria’s
Secret. When she is not strutting her exotic good looks,
Adriana does charity work with Brazilian orphans.
Ms. Lima was quoted as saying:” Fashion
is about good energy. It’s about feeling. That’s
what I have to give to people; good energy and good feeling.”
Adriana has an artfully tousled mane of dark chestnut hair,
but styles that are either pulled up or back show
off her fabulous cheek bones to her best advantage. In some
photos it appears that Adriana has some sun-kissed highlights;
whether they are God given or professional is a secret that
only she knows for sure.
