Choosing
the right hairstyle for your wedding
requires serious thinking. Most brides have trouble deciding because
they are afraid that they might make the wrong decision. Before
choosing what kind of bridal hairstyle you want, you should first
do research. Look at magazines or web sites and find something that
you love.

Your bridal hairstyle should also compliment your dress. A classic
updo looks stunning with backless wedding gowns. If you have a princess
ball gown, romantic curls are perfect for you. On the other hand,
if you have a beach wedding, a bridal hairstyle of long, flowing
waves is just the thing.
The next thing you should consider is selecting your Hair stylist.
It is very important that your stylist understands what you want.
You should also know that it is much better if you do not trim,
color, perm or chemically straighten your own hair especially during
the six months leading up to your wedding day. If you plan on wearing
an updo on your wedding day, DO NOT get highlights.
It would not look good. You can always use clip-on extensions to
add volume and length on your hair. Never choose a hairstyle that
would make you uncomfortable on your wedding day.
It is also important to have a trial run with your stylist. This way, if you do not like the result, you will still have time to change it. Do not rush your hairstylist. Always make your appointment few hours before your big day.
If you are torn between two hairdos, you can perhaps have one style during the ceremony, and one during the reception.
It is cheaper if you go to the salon yourself instead of the stylist come to you. Keep in mind that a simple hairstyle would save money.
Always remember that this is your big day. Everyones eyes will be on you.
Just keep your hair simple but elegant, and make sure that you are
comfortable with your chosen bridal hairstyle.
