Archana started her career with a bang in "Jalwa" opposite Naseeruddin Shah. Despite of her talents, she failed to get good movies. She mostly appeared in grade B movies which have got a soft porn touch. Although she was not a smash hit in big screens, her roles in TV serials like "Junoon" & "Shriman Shrimati" were instant hit.
